Founded in 1925, Charitable status since 2018. Inspiring creativity for over a 100 years.
For more than a century CMTS has brought people together through the performing arts. Since becoming a registered charity in 2018, we have continued to build on that legacy by promoting arts education, developing local talent and producing high-quality musical theatre for audiences across Caldicot and the surrounding areas.

Our Shows.
Join us...
We typically stage at least 3 performances per year, including a major musical. As well as our shows and concerts you'll often find us out in the community, supporting local charity fundraisers, fetes, fayres, Christmas celebrations, care homes and other community events.
Our members range in age from 11 upwards and there's no upper age limit! Whether you're an experienced performer trying musical theatre for the first time or looking to get involved behind the scenes there's a place for you at CMTS.
Producing a show takes much more than the cast on stage. We're always looking for volunteers to help with stage management, lighting and sound, set building and painting, costumes, props, front of house, marketing, fundraising, chaperoning, administation and even making the tea! Whatever your skills or experience, we'd love to welome you to our friendly society.
