CMTS is an amateur musical theatre group and registered charity and there are plenty of ways to get involved - whether you love being on stage, working behind the scenes or want to help keep the group running throughout the year.
You don’t have to be in the spotlight unless you want to! It takes a fantastic team of volunteers with all kinds of skills to bring our productions and activities to life. Whether you’re interested in performing, stage management, lighting and sound, costumes, set building, front of house, or helping backstage during shows, there’s a place for you.
There are also lots of opportunities to support the day-to-day running of the society. You could help with making and maintaining costumes, supporting our costume hire service, booking venues, helping run social events, making the tea, maintaining equipment and scenery, fundraising, finance, marketing, administration or serving on the committee.
Whatever your skills, experience or the time you can offer, your contribution will make a real difference.
We typically stage three productions each year, including one major annual show. As a registered charity, we also take part in a variety of community events throughout the year. These help raise our profile, strengthen our links with the local community and generate vital funds so we can continue bringing quality musical theatre to audiences for years to come.
If you’d like to become part of our friendly and welcoming community, we’d love to hear from you. Simply fill out our contact form or get in touch.
